Semi-Formal Summer Tailoring
I’ve been looking for a semi formal look for an event in August - either a suit or just a blazer would work. I’ll attach pics for everything in further comments.
I tried a couple things out at Buck Mason. I kind of liked the look - they could be fun as casual jackets - but definitely too casual for the event in August. I thought maybe it’s just a fit issue too.
Went back to the drawing board. I liked that last sand colored Buck Mason jacket, but it’s not the right one for the climate (and somehow can’t find another more structured black linen blazer I like in the price point). I liked a couple lighter ones from Natalino, and saw some I can try on at my local Suit Supply.
Honestly, I feel like I’m in a bit of decision paralysis about this. I know the brands at this price point, and have a decent idea of what I’m looking for, so maybe I just need to lock in at some point instead of overthinking it.
