Lilly58 single key delayed input, or no input unless pushing hard.
Hey guys! I built my Lill58 a few weeks ago, and it's been good so far. As I have been using it more, I noticed that I have two keys next to each other (k and l) that work most of the time, but often I find myself missing them when typing and noticed that I have to push harder to get them to register a keystroke.
When I push harder, it also often sends two keystrokes as well.
PCB is pre-soldered. I added extra solder to the microcontroller to ensure it has a solid contact (it seems it does), but I am still not sure how to debug this next.
And recommendations?
Thanks a ton!

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue with your 'k' and 'l' keys.
This behavior (delayed input, needing a hard press, and double keystrokes) often points to a connection issue with the switch or its socket. Even with a pre-soldered PCB, these can occur.
I recommend checking our troubleshooting guide for "Single Key Not Working," as the steps there directly address these symptoms:
1. Check the switch: Carefully remove the 'k' and 'l' switches. Inspect their pins to ensure none are bent. If they are, gently straighten them with tweezers. You can also try swapping them with a known working switch from another part of the keyboard to see if the issue follows the switch.
2. Check the hotswap socket: With the switch removed, look into the hotswap socket on the PCB. Sometimes the internal contacts can be bent or not making proper connection. You might need to gently bend the gold contacts inside the socket to ensure they firmly grip the switch pins.
3. Check the diode: While less common on pre-soldered PCBs, ensure the small diode near each affected switch is properly seated and soldered. Reheating the solder on its pads can sometimes help.
