Connecting IP to external minehut server
So I have a server through pebblehost (premium plan) and my server has been active for about a week and I came across the external minehut option, I wanted to add it so more players can join and what not and I dont see any downsides currently to doing it this.
But I am struggling with connecting my domain to minehut, I have set it up no problem with pebblehost and my store website. but im unsure how to switch over to minehut, it just wont connect or what not.
my ip is play.voidnexusmc.com and java players can't connect to it, they can only connect with the minehut address voidnexusmc.minehut.gg and bedrock users can still connect with the ip play.voidnexus,c.com port 8011, so that confuses me too.
Here are my records, i've probably messed up something somewhere.
I am waiting for responses from both pebblehost and minehut, so I thought I would ask here too 🙂

did you use the custom domain function of minehut external?
Here is what is configured atm

follow this

no srv needed, no a record neede
needed
it doesnt use 25593 when its the minehut subdomain it uses hostname based forwarding, so youre sending people to a server that doesnt exist
because minehut isnt running on 25593
Okay, I deleted all the unecessary stuff and just added the cname and it worked in seconds. I don't why I was skipping that part, I guess I was trying to make it so bedrock player could still join through that ip as well.
Since I added the cname, java players can join, but bedrock can't now, any ideas on how to fix that? btw I appreciate your help!
remake just the srv record, but port 25565 instead
and using the minehut subdomain, not your play.
<servername>.bedrock.minehut.gg
You want me to put my minehut server name after the tcp part?

Minehut
