vgc keeps crashing (van 185, van -102)
vgc service is set to automatic but it keeps crashing. I've put it through the firewall, done a vanguard reinstall without secure boot, done a clean boot and tried, but to no avail. I also got banned twice now since I keep crashing because vgc keeps crashing :((

Drop your vanguard logs
Zip em all up and send it

@nyx died it looks like internet instability or ISP issues, try to close other apps that uses your bandwidth
I am currently on a low bandwidth (~1mbps). Around 2 months ago, the issue I used to face was vgc taking up basically all my bandwidth, meaning my ingame ping was unplayable. (Although it used to work like 3-5 months ago but some update messed something up). Now I'm pretty sure vgc periodically still takes up a lot of bandwidth but my ingame ping is normal so idk why vgc would be crashing :( Is virtualization or some registry settings messing anything up (since I've been tryna troubeshoot myself)? Any help would be really appreciated!
PS: i've seen accounts of others having similar issues and I'm p sure they have better wifi and stuff so idk if that's the root cause
Others are getting the van185 for a different reason
You could do a clean boot
And try the game
.
Press windows key
Search “msconfig”
And open “System Configuration”
Head to “Services” tab
Check “Hide all Microsoft services”
And then “Disable all”
And find “vgc” and enable that only
Open “Task Manager”
Then head to “Startup Apps”
And disable all
And enable all riot related
Then restart your pc
Then try the game and see
already tried a clean boot as i said in my op :(
vgc is not really crashing, it's just exiting because the vanguard session disconnected
and the reason it disconnected is most likely because of internet issues
could you maybe give me some more details regarding the logs, please?
also, i'd like to clarify: is vgk.sys supposed to be in system32/drivers? or just in program files/riot vanguard?
if it's suppsoed to be in system32, my clean install and reinstall didn't put it there (even tried it with safe boot disabled). so i copy pasted it into system32/drivers and changed the regedit path 'ImagePath' for vgk to the one in system32.
again, i'm just adding stuff i noticed/tried doing to fix it if any of it is even related yk
should be in program files/riot vanguard
turns out i forgot to delete vgkbootstatus.dat before reinstalling vanguard, that seemed to have done the job! just wanted to ask: using oCam's game capture shouldn't cause any issues with vanguard right? Just wanna make sure I don't potentially mess anything up again :( Ty for your help!
Where did u unistall
