I have 39 moon melon seeds and 660mil. I had 2 bil but burned through it by buying stuff. How do I do sprinkler method so i can get more money again?

Place 1 of each type of sprinkler where your most valuable plants are (make sure to collect all fruit either before or right after placing), then leave the game for at least an hour, come back and your fruits should be giant

Plant all the seeds before they grow use every type of sprinkler then leave the game for about 30 minutes

I have to manually check every time, it doesn't send a notification on my phone automatically. I have joined multiple servers in case one of them is broken but none of them ping. Maybe it's because there are too many players in the server and my software mistakes it for spam?
Does anyone else have this issue?
