Your webhook has been removed
Hi,
I got an email from Shopify saying the below and suddenly our webhooks delivery failure rate shot up drastically:
Your webhook for orders/updated at https://buymore.gadget.app/api/webhooks/shopify has been removed on 2025-07-08 12:05:29 UTC because it's failing to return a successful response.
Would you know how how to debug this? We havent changed anything at our end around webhooks? It was all handled via gadget directly.

thanks for this report -- we'll look into it. definitely shouldn't be that many failed webhooks (if any at all!)
while we dig, i'll note we've seen folks experience this in the past when they did custom migrations of data into or out of Gadget where the list of shops installed in shopify didn't match the list of shops in an app's database. have you done anything like that recently?
ok, weve done some investigation and found an issue with some shops that have been uninstalled that were previously frozen and then got unfrozen. gadget thinks they are still frozen, but they are not, so they are receiving lots of webhooks. we have a few things we're likely going to do to fix this, and we're going to keep digging to make sure we know all forms of the issue. we'll update here when the fixes are out!

I now have 2 removed webhooks. Please let me know best way to get this sorted asap..

We shipped a fix on Friday. The nightly sync would have updated any shops that were frozen to the corrected state.
You should be able to re-register the webhooks for those shops.

I still see errors of 422 being reported today

Would you be able to provide a Trace ID? as well have the shop states been updated in the ShopifyShop table?

Okay so I made an error, the fix was not shipped friday but should be soon. I will reply back to this thread once it goes live

The fix has been shipped- I verified your shop that was previously in a frozen state has been updated and the plan is now
