First Workspace Waits Forever
Hello everyone, I'm following the tutorial to get coder up and running to try out and having some issues.
I installed it on a ubuntu machine and it seems to be up and running without issues and I go to the tunnel URL and try and create a docker workspace like in the quickstart.
I do have docker on the server.
Well it opens the right sidebar and says build enqueued and it's waiting for a provisioner. But nothing ever happens it just sits forever. I'm not sure what is wrong.
I tried logging in on the command line and following instructions to create a provisioner thinking one was missing but it just says remote provisioners are a premium feature.
This is all on the same VM so it wasn't another server it was on the coder server itself.
Thank you for your help.

What are you creating this issue for?
I should also say that it appears that there are 3 provisioners for the server so I am unsure why nothing gets created.

you don't seem to be missing any provisioners, as they are built-in and seem to be healthy.
are you able to share a screenshot of the "waiting for provisioner" message?
im having same issue
:sadkek:

all good! i'll reopen it then :-)
Wouldn't be able to provide a picture until I was home.
But I'll be home in two days.
a lot of people just don't check discord that often or even forget their accounts altogether
so i'm doing cleanup
take your time!

it gets tough to manage 😅, but we'll be rolling out some automatic stale issue management soon like on GitHub so hopefully that'll solve it
hopefully that helps with the load.
I do not remember if I solved this issue or not to be honest with you. I'll look as soon as I get home. I don't remember if it was the Docker socket issue or not.
sounds good!
thanks :)
