heavy straight legged chinos

I have tried 3 pairs of chinos and none of them were right:

• carhartt wip deceptively tapered in person
• beams plus very lightweight
• studio Nicholson beautiful fabric but again tapered harshly in person

Where can I get a pair of heavy ish weight straight leg chinos? Preferably mid to high rise?

Budget like $300 USD max max but prefer less. Prefer new and returnable but I may end up trawling secondhand sites I guess
