6-Month Ban for Queuing with Cheaters — Seeking Advice or Review
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar situation, or if anyone might be able to provide advice or direction on how I can proceed.
My VALORANT account was recently suspended for 6 months for the reason of "frequent play with cheaters." While I understand and support Riot’s efforts to protect the integrity of the game, I would like to clarify that I have never used cheats myself, and I was not aware that any of the players I queued with were cheating.
These teammates were found through Discord LFG servers. I played approximately 8 to 9 games with them, and unfortunately, it seems some of them were later flagged for cheating. I do not personally know these individuals, nor did I intentionally group up with them with any malicious intent.
I have already served close to 2 months of the suspension. I submitted several appeals via Player Support, but the responses I’ve received were generic and provided no evidence or meaningful clarification. I was informed that the penalty was confirmed through manual review and that the case is considered closed, with no further discussion allowed.
I’m posting here because I still genuinely hope to be heard. I acknowledge my responsibility for not being more cautious about who I queued with, and I’ve learned from this situation. However, given the circumstances and the fact that I did not knowingly engage in cheating, I’m kindly asking if there’s any way to request a further review or a reduction in the suspension period.
If anyone has been through something similar, knows someone at Riot I could speak to, or has any suggestions for what steps I could take next, I would truly appreciate your help.
