6-Month Ban for Queuing with Cheaters — Seeking Advice or Review
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar situation, or if anyone might be able to provide advice or direction on how I can proceed.
My VALORANT account was recently suspended for 6 months for the reason of "frequent play with cheaters." While I understand and support Riot’s efforts to protect the integrity of the game, I would like to clarify that I have never used cheats myself, and I was not aware that any of the players I queued with were cheating.
These teammates were found through Discord LFG servers. I played approximately 8 to 9 games with them, and unfortunately, it seems some of them were later flagged for cheating. I do not personally know these individuals, nor did I intentionally group up with them with any malicious intent.
I have already served close to 2 months of the suspension. I submitted several appeals via Player Support, but the responses I’ve received were generic and provided no evidence or meaningful clarification. I was informed that the penalty was confirmed through manual review and that the case is considered closed, with no further discussion allowed.
I’m posting here because I still genuinely hope to be heard. I acknowledge my responsibility for not being more cautious about who I queued with, and I’ve learned from this situation. However, given the circumstances and the fact that I did not knowingly engage in cheating, I’m kindly asking if there’s any way to request a further review or a reduction in the suspension period.
If anyone has been through something similar, knows someone at Riot I could speak to, or has any suggestions for what steps I could take next, I would truly appreciate your help.

Further Context on My Case – Discord Matchmaking Conversations
To help clarify my situation, I’m sharing two screenshots from Discord that show how I got into games with players I didn’t know. The messages demonstrate that:
I joined the game after being invited through Discord. I was not the one organizing the group, and I did not know any of the players beforehand.
Most of my attempts to play with people through Discord were rejected or led nowhere.

I asked: → “Still missing a player?”
I was sent a Discord server invite. Although the link now shows “Invalid,” at the time I successfully joined and played.
Later: → “Are you still playing?”

Reply: → “Sorry, we’re full.”
→ “Let me know if you’re short.”
Reply: → “Full.”
→ “Is Diamond 1 okay?”

Final Note
These screenshots show that I was not intentionally teaming with cheaters. I simply accepted an invite through Discord from someone I didn’t know, and I had no control over who else was in the game. I was not aware that any rule-breaking was happening.
I sincerely ask for reconsideration or a reduced suspension period, given the context and lack of any deliberate misconduct.

I've been waiting for a response from the employee at Fist, but I haven't heard back yet. I have no choice but to do this.

But their rules state that there will be warnings, and this is the first time I've encountered this situation. They shouldn't have banned me for six months without any warning.
