Flat Earth Sun and Moon Orbit Question
For some reason, my previous question was closed. I’ll pretend to be answering to Grimm’s post in the original forum.

Okay, so what that tells me is that there isn’t an actual scientific reason you know of that shows why the Sun and Moon orbit in the sky. Meanwhile, globe earth has many explanations:
- The Sun appears to move through the sky because the Earth is rotating on its axis every 24 hours.
- The Moon orbits Earth due to gravity, which explains its predictable path and phases.
- Seasons are caused by Earth’s 23.5° axial tilt, changing the Sun’s angle throughout the span of the year.
- Time zones exist because different parts of the globe rotate into and out of sunlight.
- The Sun rises and sets because it’s being blocked by the Earth’s curvature, not because it’s “moving away.” This can be easily seen by the naked eye, seeing as the Sun appears to dip below the horizon, rather than shrink away, which would make sense on a flat Earth.
You also say that “we don’t have access to celestial objects”, which is objectively false. Even if you think that the Moon landing was staged, you can still look through a telescope at celestial bodies. And what about the GPS that you use? That comes from satellites orbiting the Earth. Do you also think that the rovers on Mars are also fake?

Of course theres no scientific reason. Science requires using the scientific method. Which means you need to be able to manipulate the IV (independent variable). Since we are only man and have no control over celestial bodies we cannot manipulate any IV. Ergo science is not compatible.

So what, explanations are just stories. I could say unicorns fart and that makes the sun and moon orbit. That is an explanation. It is just as valid as any explanation you have.
The real question you need to ask yourself is "how does one verify these explanations?".
Each of your points are not scientific. Each one is a story without verification.
First point: "..because earth is rotating..."
A story you cant verify
Second point: "..due to gravity.."
A story you cant verify
Third point: "..caused by earths tilt..."
A story you cant verify
Fourth point: not even correct in your own paradigm... but also "..parts of the globe rotate..."
A story you cant verify
Fifth point: "the sun rises and sets because its being blocked by earths curvature"
Lets ignore the incoherent part of this where you incorrectly state the globes claimed cause of this phenomenon, correct answer would be earths rotation which is a story you cant verify. Instead lets focus on on the fact you think the horizon is a the leading edge of a sphere. Its not, see for yourself here:

Ok, come pick up objectively in your spaceship and prove it buddy. :LOL:
Looking at stuff isnt accessing it. You cant manipulate it, you cant test/experiment on it. All you can do is observe.
Loran, cables, towers, radio. We use all this stuff. No problem having this or sky stuff over a flat earth.
P.S. metal boxes falling around the earth in some sort of goldilocks zone is.... you guessed it... a story you cant verify.
