What shoes to wear with these jeans?
Im buying these baggy raw denim jeans and i was wondering what shoes i should look at with these? Im split between a loafer or something more casual like some black gats.. any ideas?

Hi @Jake! The best way to get a good answer is to ask a great question.
Please consider including:
- Reference pictures of things you like or are looking for. The more the better!
- Pictures of you wearing things if you have fit questions.
- A specific budget in numbers. “Affordable" means different things to different people.
- Specific measurements: Chest and waist are far more useful than height and weight.
- Measurements of your favourite fitting clothing. Learning these measurements will go a long way in helping you shop online and secondhand!
- Whether you're happy to buy secondhand.
- Whether you prefer to buy in person or are open to shopping online.
- Your vague location, especially if that limits your options because of customs or access to stores. A country or continent is helpful.
- Timescales: Do you need something urgently, or can you wait for the right thing at the right price?

i’m ngl either would work just fine
it depends on the rest of the fit
but both are very like
easy to fit in outfits
id probs be wearing my cropped black hoodie
i need more hoodies haha..
I really like the idea of wearing some black gats with them
they are blue jeans
theyre called ‘raw denim’ so 🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽
I think kyn's point is that you can wear nearly any kind of shoe with these and it'll look fine
yeah, i think more silouhette wise
a thinner/smaller shoe will accompany these a lot better
hey, not to be rude but i feel like literally any shoe would work with these jeans
i do agree with this tbh
the rawness is not a quality of their silhouette
anyway whatever
yeah i completely agree haha
what about hoodies? what colour jackets and overshirts should i get
whatever ones you like, i think you can wear most colours with these jeans
hmmm
i feel like only black would look good
thats not quite true but if you feel that way get black
I want more flair though
i suggest you go poke around some sources, here/instagram/wherever, and take note of how people wear hoodies and jackets with jeans. You will probably discover something about your tastes and examples to copy
i wanna try red
dont think it would work too well though
y not
clash too much
Try it out. Life’s too short.
😭😭😭
very true!!
And I disagree with this
Wide jeans + 3xls

And then the same pants with small shoes. Goes both ways

Just saw your comments in #fashion so I'll elaborate a bit
I think the demna balenciaga sneakers (and shoes in general) are really the coolest off the shelf designer footwear
there was a great qna thread about the best interesting flat shoes a while back

buying and wearing standard looking shoes is great
(see 3rd pic above)
but imo a huge waste to buy some really normal looking sneakers that are just like slightly different other than an LV logo and cost $4k more than sneakers that look nearly identical which they're trying to rip off
Heres a side by side of the small onitsuka tiger mexico 66s and the balenciaga 3xls

Also a big fan of the runner v1 and the cargos
Im struggling on which one to buy, theres 2 pairs of jeans that I really like the look of.

hard to make a direct comparison when one is a picture on body and the other isn't
the second pair might be wider but off these alone it depends on cost and how much you like or dislike button fly jeans
second pair does seem baggier but i realllly dont like the exposed crotch buttons personally. it is a cool detail if you do like it though.
I think its really unique and quite solid..
but Its just whether I want it to look unique or not
How many wide-pairs of jeans do you have?
Because rarely is it about one unique piece, and much more about how it all looks together, as obvious as that is.
You can definitely build a wardrobe on unique pieces. But that’s also something that takes a good amount of experience and a developed taste.
up to you to figure out 👍
this would be an instance where "what are you wearing with it?" is important; a long enough shirt/hoodie/jacket will cover the buttons if you don't want to see them. if you aren't wearing that and the buttons bother you, you might want to get the other/a different pair
plus everything ler and cozartam said above
I figured they sell the same jeans without the buttons showing, so Ive bought them haha
i think the crotch looks awkward on the right hand one due to where the fly ends
