polyester/spandex/elastane free socks
I need help, Ive got a couple brands I've been buying socks from but surely someone has a rec. I don't want any synthetic/petroleum based fibers in my socks. I've found these that I like:
- buzz ricksons
- rawganique
- Donegal(? can't remember made it Ireland fully wool)
any recs would be appreciated

Hi @sah! The best way to get a good answer is to ask a great question.
Please consider including:
- Reference pictures of things you like or are looking for. The more the better!
- Pictures of you wearing things if you have fit questions.
- A specific budget in numbers. “Affordable" means different things to different people.
- Specific measurements: Chest and waist are far more useful than height and weight.
- Measurements of your favourite fitting clothing. Learning these measurements will go a long way in helping you shop online and secondhand!
- Whether you're happy to buy secondhand.
- Whether you prefer to buy in person or are open to shopping online.
- Your vague location, especially if that limits your options because of customs or access to stores. A country or continent is helpful.
- Timescales: Do you need something urgently, or can you wait for the right thing at the right price?
Also, please use the search function to see if a similar question has already been asked!

oh nice didn't know rototo made fully natural gotta look out for that
One of the reasons synthetics in socks is so common is for durability--this is particularly true with Nylon. I'm not telling you not to buy socks made of natural materials, but be aware they potentially can wear down faster.
If you're asking because you're concerned about sustainability, I'd encourage you to try darning your socks if they develop holes.
lol it's actually bc synthetics irritate my skin I know why ppl buy synthetics id prefer not to for a few reasons.
hopefully one day I'll be able to find a vintage darning machine but I should get a hand darner in the meantie
