Issues with color bandwidth

Hey guys. I have just installed bazzite (bazzite-deck on HTPC), and noticed immediately that colors are washed out compared to how they were on Windows. I discovered rather quickly that this is because bazzite limits your output to 420 8b @4k 120hz. After doing some research I've found that full color range isn't supported on bazzite at 4k 120hz, even with appropriate hardware (HDMI 2.1, lgc1). I found this really odd, considering how people say it's the best for gaming (yet standards like full rgb range aren't even an option?) Is there anything I can do besides setting it to 60hz (I've noticed that allows 444). I would really prefer to not have to go back to windows, but if my only options on bazzite are sub-par colors, or 60hz I may have to. Which would suck, as this OS performs INCREDIBLY well. Just for reference full rgb at 4k 120hz worked fine in windows. My specs GPU: 7800 XT CPU: 5900x 32gig of ram. HDMI 2.1 cable to lgc1 OLED. Thanks in advance!

Update: it would appear bazzite is also limited to 8bit at even 60hz. That's really disappointing If there was a way to adjust color levels while in game mode I could probably live with it, so odd it doesn't have basic display settings. Ok, this is actually absurd. They advertise it as HDR capable which isn't true, you aren't getting proper HDR at 8bit. This whole OS feels like a massive lie, how is a PS4 (from 2013, over a decade old) more capable at video output than this? Also, changing RGB range in desktop mode between limited and full does nothing lol.
