Boot on older pc

Hi all, Is my kids pc, IntelDP35DP board with a Core2Quad with SSD, too old to boot Bazzite from USB? Its currently running Win10. I've tried every combination of settings available in Rufus to create the USB. Tried turning UEFI on or off, fiddled with the USB emulation settings. All to no avail. When the USB is detected and booted from, it boots into grub recovery, and states that a file in \boot\grub\i386-pc\ doesn’t exist. However the path is \boot\grub2 on the USB. Any ideas?

i suggest you try again with ventoy looks like your mainboard is 64 bit, yet it looked for something 32 bit (i386) which is strange (32 bit bios?) also turn off secure boot off on bios

Thanks, ill try Ventoy. I've tried Ubuntu, Fedora, and win11 on the pc and it all works. So I'd live to be able to put Bazzite on it too and be rid of the M$ scourge for good Excellent advice, thank you @Denny . It booted, and is installing as we speak
