How to allow certain mods to not override multiplayer
Hello, I don’t know if this is something mentioned before, or if it’s even an issue to begin with; however I want to make sure that’s why I’m making this post
A friend and I have a multiplayer server we use and I host - just the two of us, and he seems to be so bent on not using a certain mod that changes vanilla music; the mod in particular is vanilla calamity mod music - which I so enjoy, after countless of normal music boring me to death.
However he is adamant that without vanilla music he doesn’t feel he is playing terraria. So right now we have it disabled, however I’m finding it hard without it - as it was so good in my opinion.
But because we are in multiplayer it forces him to have the same mods completely, so he will not agree to me having it - is there a work around? Maybe not forcing all mods to be used by both players? Is that possible

if it's a client-side mod then it shouldn't force everyone to enable it
if it's server-side then they cant disable it aside from maybe looking through the config to see if it lets them toggle things
Got you, thank you
Sadly it’s not client side
