Hey everyone, I'm new to mfad and haven't really ever considered myself "fashion-forward" which is part of why I'm here.
Every year it's really important to my wife and I to have family photos with the kiddos that we can always look back on. This year I'd like to really dive into putting something together that looks great. My wife and I have lost a combined 150 lbs over the last year and a half together and so I'm also feeling much more confident and have started taking more interest in my wardrobe because of it.
I'm mostly interested in any sort of outfit inspirations, ideas, or advice that you all have for putting together a fall fit. Colors can come later, but mostly asking for recs on layers, pieces, etc. Attached are a few photos of previous outfits I've worn for family photos and I know they're not fantastic but wanted to give a reference of what I've done in the past. We're also in MN so it'll be a bit colder when we take our photos.
From what I've seen, I really enjoy fits where people have been able to create interesting layers or textured clothing, which I've attempted in my previous outfits but I'm not sure if I'm hitting the mark.
Sorry if this is an unnecessarily long post or doesn't give the info needed, but this is my first dive into everything.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks everyone.
