Why does this error appear occasionally?
So basically, whenever the MechaKeys app is opened, occasionally it creates a new window that is shown in the image. Why does it do this? This issue has been happening ever since I switched to v2 (I followed all instructions in #v2-download ) so does that have anything to do with this? I can just delete the tab and resume my day, but does this mean anything at all? Lmk if it does.

ah… Might be the auto-updater trying to check for new versions or download new versions when the computer is in sleep mode or hibernation (ie network operation suspended).
could also happen if network connection is dropped/changed.
either way, you can safely ignore it. You could also allow network connectivity when in sleep mode, but idk if it’s worth it.
