If you still have both store's apps and you can open both of them > ctrl + shift + t > systemclt reboot > that should get rid of the old app, but not the entry in your menu
Therefore, the only fix is to add the old store to steam, then, through steam, open the location of that file, and then delete it from that folder. This will delete your old store's entry from the application menu and prevent you from opening something that is not there any longer....
