Valorant / Vanguard causing pc to freeze / crash after closing.
This has been an ongoing issue for more then a year. Every time I close Valorant, I can't open any other applications without my PC freezing / crashing. On top of that, when I try to restart or shut down my PC, it freezes / crashes during the process, and I’m forced to power it off using the power button.
I’ve tried purging everything Riot-related (including folders) and reinstalling everything. I also have a fresh Windows installation and a powerful PC. I quit playing Valorant because of this issue but wanted to start playing again.
I’ve updated and reinstalled every driver. The only third-party software I use is Insights Capture to record my gameplay—it has no overlays whatsoever.
Someone mentioned turning off Memory Integrity, but that would leave my PC too vulnerable. I’ve also run
I’m stuck. Constantly shutting down with the power button but that ain't a viable option long-term. Any ideas would be appreciated.
