i am trying to log back in to my 7 year old account but the sms isnt sending any code to my phone number

You can also try the following: If you are unable to receive verification code text messages, please confirm that the phone number you used is the same phone number that is linked to the game account. If so, please try the following steps: 1. Ensure that you didn't enter the number "O" before the phone number. 2. Try changing your network environment (4G, WiFi, etc.). 3. Contact your mobile carrier to see whether the message is being blocked, and if it is, request for it be unblocked. 4. Uninstall any spam block apps on your device which could be blocking the message. 5. Ensure that your cell service is not currently interrupted by your carrier due to a lapse in payment. 6. Please avoid requesting a verification code too frequently. If you have already made multiple attempts to request a code, we recommend waiting a while (at least 24 hours) before trying again. 7. If you haven't registered an account yet, please use your social media account to register one or login as a guest to bind your email/phone and then try to get the verification code again. If the issue still persists, please reach out to customer service through in-game or by sending an email to service@pubgmobile.com.
