Bazzite wont install and auto-restarts laptop so I cant see the error
Heya, so as the title says I am trying to install Bazzite. I have flashed the ISO to a USB and when I have gone to install it, I reach the installer segment of the set up and get met with an error message: "An Unknown Error has Occured". Then with in 3 seconds of that showing up, it restarts my Laptop and I am unable to read the error log in detail.
I am guessing that my issue is similar to this one as the little glimpse I get shows a similar log and the issue overall sounds the same https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1267223899771502692
If anyone is able to assist with how I can get it to stop restarting so I can properly debug my issue that would be amazing help!

I am gonna attempt to install fedora and then rebase to Bazzite

use Fedora Media Writer to flash it to the USB (works on linux and windows)
is it better to use fedora media writer over say rufus or balenaEtcher?

its specific for Fedora images
Riiight okay, because I flashed the non-live iso using Etcher.
Recon is worth trying the stable with fedora media writer first?
or just go straight for live?

just had to re-format my USB to then flash it again using fedora media writer
so I shall find out soon if it will work

if youre using a laptop ofc
you can always rebase to Asus thingy after the installer
but it shouldnt be much different
Thats why I was grabbing just base fedora to rebase after?
Recon its worth doing bazzte to rebase to bazite-Asus?
i think it would be worth to stay in the regular bazzite image and if you have no issues stay there
but you can always rebase yes
okay coolio! will get that ISO downloaded and tested. I will test stable first, then live if that fails and then fedora its self

Stable didn't work, same issue...
I am gonna try just base fedora and see if its an issue with that OS its self or with bazzite.

fedora install also didnt work.
Having search a bit it seems a common step is to create a partition for it? Now I am wanting to completely remove windows for Bazzite but could that little partition possible be the issue??

i did it with empty space on my windows distro

I get about 2 seconds before the whole device restarts...

Gonna keep it running in the hopes its just slow but I highly doubt it

you can write it to a file somewhere
mount any filesystem (windows?)
Also looking at the partition now it seems to have formatted my drive correctly? So windows should not exist?

Yeah it infinately loafs
Just ran efibootmgr and found e fedoras and windows boot manager so i removed those and trying again
Okay so I have managed to install Arch, gonna try and see if I can install fedora now. Maybe arch has nicely fixed the issue???
