because it doesnt say the blue button will kill the people who voted the red button
and if more people vote the red button, if you voted red you wont die anyways

how would you know that a majority of people wouldnt pick the red button and kill all who voted blue
maybe
if there wasn't a live vote counter i'd pick red
if there was a live vote counter there'd be large efforts to convince people to pick blue
