Stuck on infinite loading in multiplayer

i have a weird problem with multiplayer - 2nd player connecting to the server is stuck on the loading screen infinitely, but can still move around, hear sounds and interact with everything.

i checked through all the mods, disabling any marked as not server compatible

Just because a mod was compiled for dedicated servers doesn't mean it's fully MP compatible

Right after cartography whined about not being able to find stuff everything before and after seems normalish. so I'm not specifically blaming cartography. but they're basically partially disconnecting from the server while loading which is why they get stuck on the screen.

:AThonkTriangle: now.. i AM using a tunnel, but i did set the external reliable thingy port i'm going through localhost, while itzu is using the tunneled IP. but like i said it's always the first player that joins correctly so i don't think it's about that...

networking advanced setups isn't something I can help with. but that's all I can find in the logs

yep. but first can i set the port separetly for localhost and the outside? oh wait no i can literally just set the same as the external one
