Unable to Install Bazzite on Steam Deck

Setup: Steam Deck * SSD 2TB 1. EFI 2. Mint 3. 128GB Unallocated * MicroSD (Ventoy) 1. Linux Mint 2. Bazzite Live Boot (Beta) I tried installing Bazzite with automatic partitioning but it kept giving "ostree container ... error 1" generic error. I deleted Mint's EFI partition and tried using manual partioning to install Bazzite, but on the Deck, Bazzite refused to give me the option to chose EFI for file system type for the partition at the beginning. I managed to get the live boot of Bazzite to work only with Grub2 mode on Ventoy.

Have you checked our documentation? There's an install troubleshooting section that covers this error Our LiveISOs also have a workaround for it built in

The problem is when I try to manual partition I have 0 options to create an EFI partition Referring to error code 1 I had fully deleted the efi partition so I assume it should have gotten rid of any efi conflicts but I kept getting no choice for EFI

No EFI option for file system when creating new partition - Univers...
Trying to install Bazzite based on the YT tutorial for dual boot tha't s on the bottom of the installation guide page and I don’t seem to have an option to select EFI as a file system. Not sure if I can select automatic as I want to keep an already existing NTFS partition on that drive that’s extra storage for Windows. Not sure what to do.

What workaround are you referring to btw?

Just deleting the problem folder in EFI and letting the auto partitioner do its job

I will try now auto partitioning with the fully deleted EFI partition Alright, deleting my EFI and using automatic partitioning did the trick. But this should prob be looked into as to why I couldn't manually create an EFI partition using the manual partioning method.
