This is unfortunately not super visible within SMM, but more visible on the mod's page on ficsit.app linked below

Key Details for SMMDebug-2025-08-01-19-16-24.zip
triggered by @Ricky_BusCan you start your game through Steam?
yes
>manualmove
SMM queries the APIs of the EPIC and Steam game store apps to determine where your game is. If you moved its location after installation manually, your installer client will not know where it is. You will need to reinstall your game through your store client so that it is in a known location. This will not affect your saves.
don't think this is the same problem as the original thread, you're getting "no installs found" I assume?
Thanks for the reply, I have the Satisfactory folder on the Desktop but I also reset the path where Epic installs the games, is it a problem or does SMM detect my changed path?
Yes, but I think that?s my problem
are you trying to mod Satisfactory Steam or Satisfactory Epic?
either way, use the platform's own feature to move it for you so that SMM can find it
I have Satisfactory Steam, and I moved the folder to the same folder as all my other Steam games:
...Steam\steamapps\common
But SMM still doesn't detect it.
try uninstalling the game and installing it again, we don't control how it recognizes games, that's all up to steam
I tried reinstalling but I couldn't. Now I downloaded SML and the mod:
Fast_Forward-WindowsServer-1.0.6
But I don't know where to put it, also because the guide says that once downloaded manually it should give you a .zip file, but it gives me a .smod file.
sorry, we don't offer any support for manual installs as it says in the guide
are you trying to install mods on a game client or a dedicated server?
if you are trying to install on a sever see here

Thx but I'm trying first on my own game client, I only need to know how I have to set the folders and files

Ok I solved it but I need help enabling commands in Satisfactory (no SMM, using manual SML install on Windows).
I've installed SML manually and placed a .smod mod (Fast Forward) correctly in the FactoryGame/Mods folder. The mod is detected, but I can't use any commands like EnableCheats, slomo, or speed.
Even after pressing F6 and opening the console (after editing Engine.ini), the console opens, but it always says "Unknown command" for everything I type.
Is there anything I might be missing to actually enable cheat commands?
Thanks in advance!
Manual installation isn't supported
