How do save slots work, I'm to scared to try what if it deletes my garden? also this was an unexpected update? I know they added a new merchant and save slots but what else?

It doesn't I tried it your garden refreshes and you can place more stuff, you can always switch your plots but you need to wait like 2 min 30 sec
