nice but what abt his abilities?
In-Game Information
Type: Initiator
Description:
Prism manipulates light and spectral reflections to disorient, reveal, and control the battlefield. He thrives in mid-range engagements, using misdirection and refracted vision to outplay enemies and help allies push confidently.
Skills
C: Refraction Field
Type: Utility
Cost: 200
Description: Deploys a prism anchor on a surface. After a short delay, creates a field of refracted light that duplicates visual silhouettes of any agent that walks through it for 4 seconds. Enemies see multiple "phantom" copies that mirror movement, making it harder to pinpoint real targets.
---
Q: Flashbend
Type: Crowd Control
Cost: 250
Description: Fires a bending beam of radiant light that arcs around corners. The beam detonates with a flash that blinds all agents in line of sight, but only from a specific angle. Ideal for offensive peeks around walls and tight entries.
---
E: Spectral Echo (Signature)
Type: Recon
Cost: Free (cooldown-based)
Description: Fires a spectral pulse that bounces once off walls. The pulse echoes sound signatures and movements within its radius back to Prism, revealing outlines of agents briefly through walls. Enemies inside get a short audio distortion (tinnitus effect).
---
X: Lightstorm Array (Ultimate)
Type: Zone Control / Disruption
Cost: 7 points
Description: Deploys three radiant prisms in a triangular formation that rise and emit beams of refracted energy. For 10 seconds, the area inside the triangle pulses, distorting enemy vision, jamming minimaps, and slowing movement. Allies inside gain 10% increased speed and reduced flash/blind duration
Summary
Prism is a cerebral initiator who excels in confusing and destabilizing enemy formations. His tools offer creative entries and safe reconnaissance, all wrapped in a visual distortion theme. Think of him as a blend of Sova’s recon, Fade’s manipulation, and Yoru’s misdirection — but uniquely driven by light-based illusions and radiant feedback.
Backstory
Ravi Patel was a former optical engineer and holography specialist, working in Mumbai’s high-tech defense sector. A lab accident involving unshielded Radianite light frequencies awakened his latent Radiant abilities — enabling him to perceive and manipulate light like a conductor reads music. After refining his powers in isolation, he was recruited by the VALORANT Protocol following a series of intercepted illusion-based attacks traced back to him.
Now, under the codename Prism, he brings both tech-savviness and radiant control to the team — turning battlefields into kaleidoscopic puzzles for enemies, and shining clarity for his squad.
