Best Anti-Cheat For No-Rules/No-Bans Public Java Server?
Want an anti-cheat setup that can kick people and prevent them from cheating as much as possible without perma banning them and without admin interference or commands needed.
Basically just an anti-cheat thats works on its own and does as much as it can without causing issues for vanilla players. Thankyou.

Polar is the closest you can get
But Anticheats were never meant to be used without Staff completely
Grim
Currently got Vulcan + Grim but not sure if its working well on its own
Grim alone does not prevent Combat cheats
Is Polar your own anti-cheat?
Feel like your would probably be biased to this? 😅
But yeah im looking for something that can do as much on its own without any staff
Vulcan + Grim is fine but can still be bypassed with substantial advantage.
Polar due to its mitigations lets cheaters only have minor or no advantage
As there are no staff lol
No
Polar Anticheat
Polar Anticheat
A modern Minecraft Anticheat powered by SaaS technology and specifically designed to limit cheaters from gaining an unfair advantage on your Minecraft server.
Its just the best on the market currently
Just much more expensive as it's a subscription
Okay I will look into that one thankyou.
Any specific setup I will need to do?
In terms of config
Should work basically out of the box but I have personally never owned it
Only tested it
no rules, NCP
is the standard for anarchy servers
im not sure if they'd even let him purchase though
Better than Vulcan + Grim or maybe not?
Yeah might have to wait for more active server players for Polar by the looks of it 😅
the point of anarchy is letting players cheat no?
NCP prevents game breaking exploits but allows killauras/reachs/etc
Nah cheating is super cringe imo.
Its only anarchy in terms of vanilla gameplay/what can get through the anti-cheat if that makes sense!
Its not really marketed as anarchy
...
then polar
Just vanilla no rules
so cheating allowed
I dont meet the requirements for polar at the moment
probably
then grim
Okay thankyou!
