Hi @lord_dubious. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base. ---------------------- I'm sorry, but the knowledge sources do not contain any information about a migration guide specifically for migrating from Wasp v1 to v2, or for Open SaaS projects in that context. The available documentation and migration guides focus on migrating from Wasp 0.11.x to 0.12.x, including detailed steps, scripts, and example migration functions for auth and project structure changes. There is no mention of a v1 to v2 migration or an Open SaaS-specific migration guide in the provided sources. If you need help with migration for a future Wasp version, I recommend keeping an eye on the official Wasp documentation and GitHub issues, as the team has provided migration guides and tools for previous major updates and is responsive to community needs. For now, you can also ask for help on the Wasp Discord server if you have specific migration questions or concerns about your projectHow to Migrate?. ---------------------- Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon: ---------------------- Sorry @lord_dubious, I seem to be having a bit of trouble. Don't worry though, I've pinged my support and they will try to fix me up! :technologist: Perhaps try again in 15mins?

OpenSaaS is a starter template, you don't need to migrate

Hi @lord_dubious, yes, Zeke is right. Open Saas is a "one shot starter," so you'll never need to migrate anything. Once you start using it, it's your project. That said, you can take a look at the new open saas and adapt what you like into yours, but there's nothing you must do to keep your code working.

You won't have to start again - both v1 and v2 are starter templates allowing you to create functional apps. Now, is it worth to wait until V2 is out. I believe V2 brings mostly brings design changes, but I'll tag @Vinny (@Wasp) who knows more than I do. Vinny can also say when we expect to release V2, which might help you decide.
