Valorant and riot not opening

since the ue5 update my valorant and riot games have not been opening i thought it could be due to drivers but i have done them and it still isnt opening. i have restarted my pc, closed all my riot and valorant linked proccesses in task manager and it still doesnt work. all i get is my mouse loading for a few seconds and then nothing no pop ups or anything. any help would be appreciated.
