Sanity Module for Nuxt4
Hey all! Just curious if there is a timeline for https://sanity.nuxtjs.org/ to support Nuxt 4? Getting all types of errors trying to use it in a new build. Will revert to vue-sanity for now. Thanks!

The easiest way to use Sanity with Nuxt. Get up and running in minutes with a lightweight client, zero-config components, and a great developer experience.

Hi @jbrundagejr. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

I'm sorry, but the knowledge sources do not contain any official information about a timeline for the Sanity module (https://sanity.nuxtjs.org/) to support Nuxt 4. There is no mention of an updated release schedule or compatibility update for Nuxt 4 in the provided documentation or roadmap.
However, if your primary goal is to use Sanity images, Nuxt Image does have first-class integration with Sanity for image handling in Nuxt 4. You can configure it directly in your
nuxt.config as shown below:
This integration supports all Sanity image modifiers and some extra convenience options. For more details, see the Nuxt Image Sanity provider documentation.
For full CMS integration (content, queries, etc.), you may need to wait for an official update or consider alternative approaches until the Sanity module is updated for Nuxt 4. If you continue to encounter issues, reverting to vue-sanity as you mentioned is a reasonable temporary solution.
If you need the latest status, you may want to check the Nuxt roadmap or the Sanity module repository directly for announcements, as the official docs do not currently provide a timeline.
