Installer hang
This is likely a hardware issue but i cant pin point it as it happen on every linux installer i tried.
Im on a asus prime x570-pro with
On my pcie
1 nvme with a window installed
2 nvme with game installed(this will be repurpose to install bazzite
3 rtx3070ti
4 a pcie sfp+ card
On my sata
2 harddisk on ntfs
Csm is off secureboot is on other os
This pc used to run fedora for a bit until i got a job that require me to work on window. Used to work fine.
I dont know if i mess something else important to list.

Boot via ventoy with normal boot and checksum looks fine.
try unplugging other drives and only keep the nvme you will install bazzite to
Ill try unplug the easy to unplug one first
That might be it. Unpluging nvme is a chore.
Now it hand at a white/grayish screen instead
I did not change anything(except unplug my secondary monitor) now it back to stuck at this
All drive/ nvme is unplugged except the one i format for the installation
It now work after i unplug the sfp+ adapter
And now it freeze again in the language/region selection screen
Ok i tried restarting it freeze after a few seconds of working
This time it freeze after i click around and setting up where to install
Tried the same thing with a spare usb stick still freeze after a bit
This is as far as i can get
It stop responding after around 30sec to 1 minute
No matter what i do it hang after around 30 second after i get the gui
Around 1 min after boot screen
by gui do you mean installer gui or desktop gui after installation?
if its the installer just wait a bit, it usually takes some time
you can also try installing fedora kinoite first and then rebasing to bazzite instead

just wait, the deployment takes a while
if there is no progress after like 30 mins, or if there is an error, report back
No matter what it freeze after 20 sec of installer gui. No matter you start installing or not
unresponsiveon both mice and keyboard
is that the live iso or the installer iso?
if it happens on both, try kinoite

Bazzite-Nvidia-Open
All freeze after a certain time
Ill try kinoite. need to install back my other nvme drive back in first i hate this part as a guy with huge hand :dispair:

hmm, can you try using the basic graphic installer?
How do i do that
Install Fedora using the troubleshooting->“Basic Graphic Mode” install method (menu is presented to you when you boot from the usb burned with the fedora live iso).when asked to install fedora or test then install, there should be troubleshooting menu iirc

Did not work on bazzite installer seems to be running on kinoite
ok, if it works on kinoite & you can install, you should evt be able to rebase to bazzite

I think Ill load up debian/ubuntu to test it out if it can boot
Debien installer works fine my guess is anaconda installer hate something on my hardware
Ubuntu installer also hang after a while
maybe your nvme is kill 😭
Nvme works fine smarts show 0 percent used and error is 0
Its pretty new too only 5000 gb write/ 1800 read
I still dont know what anaconda installer hates on my pc
