Has curvature ever been mesured
I was watching the navy lazor that went out 100 miles no curve why do I still see Facebook comments saying the measurement isn’t 8 inch per mile and they spew all these numbers at me and blah blah blah like how can you argue with math

8" per mile squared is a parabola. Basically like a golf shot. So they say its not an accurate representation but for the purpose used it actually is.
As you can see here it is very accurate for upto 1000miles which will work for basically any observation one could do.
Furthermore them complaining about it is really just parroting some bs they heard. They could easily use another formula, software or online calculator. No one is forcing the 8" per mile squared on them.
