why is it so that manmose is written as D-(+)-Mannose, and gulose is written as D-(-)-Gulose. + aur - sochne mein problem horahi ha. mannose i think ki jitna clockwise rotate hoga utna hi anticlock bcz of its arrangement, but aisa bhi nahi ha

See + and - is completely experimental The only thing you can be sure about is that enantiomers have opposite optical rotation

Yup Vaise poochega nahi aise most likely You just have to know ki enantiomers ka sign opposite hota hai Glucose and Fructose ka yaad rakho
