Razer PWM fan controller support?
I have just switched to Linux I just wanna start by say bazzite is exactly what I want, who every started this needs a round of applause.
To me question I have a razer ecosystem set up I’m using openrazer for my mouse, mouse dock, lightning (RGB controller) ect not as in-depth as synapse but it works. I have a fan controller that I used on windows since I didn’t have enough headers on my MOBO. My question is it there a flatpack that will allow me to use the controller? If not I was gonna remove it and pig tail my fans from the MOBO. Any and all suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Keep up the amazing work

I think we have coolercontrol to control fans from the motherboard, what's the controller btw?
I don't think it's too far to add a additional module to list fans on coolercontrol as I had to spoof my id to register fans
tbh I'm not too sure on how to register the raser pwm fan controller onto coolercontrol
It’s just called razer pwm fan controller has 8 slots and if I remember correctly it has a sata plug and a usb that plugs to the MOBO, been a while since I built my pc. Is there a flatpack for coolercontrol? Or what would be the best way to install it. Even if it’s a ujust command.
there is a ujust command or you can install it via setup

ujust - install-coolercontrol
I’ll give it a shot and see what I can do. Thank you so much for the suggestion

I needed to add a ID to spoof a module so I could control the fans on my motherboard.
I'd assume you need to do something similar, but idk what
Roger Roger, maybe the controller has some form of identification thu the sata cable or the usb and cooler control might be able to detect that and the sensors
sensors-detect might help
It didn’t detect it I see that Corsair is supported and I have one of those controllers so I might swap it out for that hub. If anything I can re-wire to my mobo headers I have 8 fans and 6 headers so I should be fine linking them together
I am able to see the hub in under the usb in the system info. I am pretty new to linux in general so not sure of to go about making coolercontrol to see the hub
