Background Upgrade Question

So i had this Cybercat Background but forgot to upgrade it with the upgrade card on the season collection when the event was still going on. So i was asking if it is possible to use the current season collection upgrade card to upgrade The cybercat background to Chromacast Cybercat Neon version? Thank you
