100 player civilization server
I’m using Bisect server hosting budget plan with 24 gb of ram. I opened the server up and the chunks just loaded horribly when everyone joined. I closed the server down got chunky plugin to generate the chunks. I then ran into lots other problems like hacking/players able to crash the server. If anyone can just break down what plugins I should get and how I should set up this type of server I would appreciate it.
What I’m doing now
Using bisect budget plan
Spigot
24gb ram
Around 8 plugins
Border radius 6000 blocks
100 players

get a plan with a better cpu and like 12-16gb of ram rather than the cheapest you can and the most ram
Bisect is awful, so is spigot
Bisect has horrible cpus most of the time and premium plans dont give better cpus, pricing is also really bad
Spigot is slow, unoptimized, tick skips, has exploits

but it's definitely cheaper than what you currently have

30% slower than a i9 9900k, it is event so maybe not the most machines but i dont think so tbh
