SUPERGFXCTL not enabling automatically

I installed bazzite recently on an asus laptop using the asus nvidia open iso and i noticed that ROG Control center is installed but SUPERGFXCTL is either not installed or not enabled automatically. I wanted to know if this is normal to enable and run the daemon manually or if it should have been running from the start?
