Just thrifted this. Styling tips?
New to wearing velvets and am kind of unsure how to approach this guy (pic ain't great but it is a double-button closure and blueish/purplish).
Thinking of pairing it with light grey Prince of Wales check pants I recently picked up (check is charcoal) and black cap toe Oxfords/Balmorals. Unsure where to go shirt/tie/pocketsquare-wise. Open to feedback on all of this!
It's Pal Zileri so I'm pretty confident I could resell it for a good bit more than I paid, worst come to worst. But I'm very intrigued by it, it fits well (except for a tiny bit of sleeve shortening it'll need), and I'd like to find a place for it in the rotation.
I work in a more conservative profession, so have opportunities to wear fancier stuff on the regular, but equally work in a section of that profession open to more distinctive stuff, so likely can actually wear this on a semi-regular basis
