Installer crashing on boot
Installer crashing on boot – Bazzite (NVIDIA desktop build) Tried multiple versions of the ISO, verified hashes, used fedora writer and verified usb.
ISO used: bazzite-kde-nvidia-stable-amd64.iso
Booting directly into the installer (not live desktop), and it crashes immediately
Verified SHA256 hash, flashed using Fedora Media Writer and Ventoy (DD mode), tried multiple USB sticks
Secure Boot is disabled
System: desktop PC, NVIDIA GPU, UEFI boot
Errors seen on boot:
Fatal Python error: _PyEval_EvalFrameDefault: Executing a cache...
TypeError: argument should be integer or None, not 'GzipFile'
AttributeError: 'LanguagesContentHandler' object has no attribute '_save_to'
SystemError: <built-in method remove of set object at 0x...> returned a result with an error set
Crashing location:
/usr/lib64/python3.13/site-packages/langtable/langtable.py
Inside anaconda’s localization module
Fails before GUI appears, just dumps traceback to console

A few things to try:
* When you get to grub, select Troubleshooting (the last option) then select Fallback graphics mode
* Try the the Beta Live ISO (just below the normal download button) instead
* You getting a language error (humor me but try and change your language in the BIOS to something like US-English and see if that makes a difference)
* Try install Fedora Kinoite and if that installs rebase to Bazzite KDE Nvidia version
* If you have an SSD drive enclosure, try install on another machine and insert the drive after the install is complete.
I was trying to find a 41 release iso because apparently that works fine, but i'll try those suggestions now
@wolfyreload thank you for your suggestions
Good luck 🙂 🤞
I did get a GUI with the live installer, but it stalled on Deployment Starting. I changed the bios language but it didn't seem to help. I am not sure if I want to try rebasing - is this difficult?
Some steps in the installer can take 10-15 minutes so it might not have actually stalled
