vanilla fog?
I'm probably the only person who actually likes the vanilla fog effect, is there any way to have the distant horizons chunks display vanilla fog?

Do you have BCLib in your mods folder?
Having DH display vanilla fog would make them have the full fog colour applied at all time, it would be pointless to have DH at this point
Unless you would use some other mod to change the vanilla fog to end when vanilla chunks end
Well no matter that it is impossible, DH has its own fog though, which you can tune in the settings
I recommend setting the DH fog to linear
If you want to keep the vanilla fog you will need some mod to make the fog less foggy
If not

You can remove fog in the config at: Advanced > Graphics > Fog > "Disable vanilla fog" or with mods like Sodium Extras, Optifine, or some other fog removal mod.
If the fog is still there and you have BCLib installed, you have to disable BCLib’s fog too.
i guess i’m talking less about the actual fog and more about haze and mist that happens when it rains
the new thing with 1.21.6(?)
For that you would need a DH add-on that changes DH fog dynamically, I don’t think something like that exists yet
