Tighter loafers
So i have this pair of leather loafers and they are loose on the heel like whenever I walk all the heel barely doesn't leave the shoe
For reference I wear a size 44(eu)and I have wide feet on the toe area the shoe is fine but on the heel area is loose
What can I do to make them tigher on the heel area
Keep in mind I have already tryed wearing thicker socks or using an insole

Have you tried a size 43?
Not really a magical cure all for heel slip in my experience, it also depends a lot on where exactly the shoe isn’t fitting you. You could try a heel pad or tongue pad. Also possible that if you haven’t broken them in yet, when the soles get softer and can flex with your step the heel slip will decrease.
Yes and my feet didn't fit in them
They weren't wide enough for my feet
get a silicone or moleskin heel pad
if that doesnt work ull have to get another loafer in a wider last or try wide sizes
would also just get ur feet sized properly
Tongue pad over heel pad for heel slip every time imo
Heel pad just pushes my toes into the toebox even more
Second this
Use a tongue pad and wear thicker socks while you break them in.
