Stuck on Cherry Blossom Hill

Hi! I just started playing and am now progressing through the story but when I enter Cherry Blossom Hill alone, I get stuck at the beginning and can't progress. I tried reloading multiple times and once, it spawned me in the middle of the dungeon but no way to progress past the waterfall. Did I do something wrong while setting up?
