The Iris shaders selection screen is working, but all buttons and text is invisible.

Hello, so I am running on Minecraft 1.21.1 - Neoforge 21.1.197 and am having a strange issue. As mentioned in the title the shader selection menu is blank, but the shaders themselves are still working. the whole menu is actually still functional, I just have to guess where the buttons are. I can still swap shaders and turn them on and off and the shaders appear to be functioning normally. The hotkeys to enable and disable shaders is also still working. Now the menu itself was working yesterday too, and I did some mod tweaking and then somehow this happened. the main shader I am using is the experimental Bliss for compatibility with distant horizons. Has anyone ran into this issue before?
