Screen Share in gamemode
Hey there! So this is a bit of a weird question but how does one screen share on discord with bazzite in gamemode? I have the shortcuts set up and I am using equicord but the screen share comes up as black. Unsure if that is because it's gamescope windows or some permission with steam or something. Is there some sort of decky plugin or something I am missing? I know it's weird I just enjoy doing it this way and I am very new linux. Taken me a week to get used to things and setup just needing some help 🙂

Ok so apparently my brain got vemcord and vesktop confused. After doing some research I guess vesktop might work? Will need to do some testing tonight after work 🙂
Did vesktop share screen work?
It did not. Tried out webcord, vesktop, equicord, all not working. Webcord kind of worked with some applications but nothing steam native for whatever reason. So at this point I am just gonna use litrus to launch things in to game mode from the desktop :p

Actually I don't think so! I have force gamescope on litrus and it works fine! Something to do with the way the gamescope interacts when used on discord I think. Like maybe because discord is in gamescope it's causing the issue

this is a script to use desktop mode in game mode I never tested it myself but it might work for you

basically just download this as a
.sh file and add it to steamOh huh! Neato. Very new to linux but willing to give it a shot
its pretty janky cause desktop mode and gamemode are supposed to be seperate lol but its kind of fun to try
Yeah taking a quick skim through uhh maybe a little too much for a beginner like me lol. Think I'll just wait. Somebody will probably make somethin 🙂 . Afterall I learned in my research adventures Deckcord was a thing and who knows maybe valve could be working on something
