Using storage template creates folders in upload/uuid/<> too?
I am using a storage template and for a test I uploaded 2 files but saw something which seems a little off to me.
When I uploaded 2 images, it created correct
year/month/filename but at the same time it is creating folders under upload/uuid/<> as well
Am I missing something?

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).

Oh, so eventually I will have all the hexa folders but actual data resides under the library?
Wow, this is new. I thougth using storage template immich directly uploads to to library but seems like a 2 step process for immich.
Is it by design or something that wasn't solved yet and will be fixed in the future release?
Correct. It's by design. You can't know where to put the new asset until the metadata is extracted. How do you know the date for the template until the exif is read? Or if you use the album, which album it is a part of? All that needs to figured out first
