The pattern looks like DH <-> vanilla fading dither
You can disable the fading in DH settings
If you are referring to this option it does not fix the problem ☹️

The one bellow it also does not fix it
Ah you mean the colour change?
LoDs being darker?
Try increasing the vertical quality
I though your issue were the dots everywhere, sorry
It is the shadows in the chunks that are bothering me
Same

Maybe try disabling tint with avoided blocks?
Also make sure cave culling height is at least slightly below the ground lever where the shadowy parts connect to the ground, or just disable cave culling
And you shouldn't really use DH on such low RD, DH is made with RD 128+ in mind, on 32 you might be getting worse performance then just using vanilla 32 RD
That is the server max
disabling tint did not change anything
I have cave culling disabled, but still changing the height did nothing
DR RD is not tied to vanilla RD, though you might need to explore first to have the LoDs on your PC
!server
DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance unless DH is installed on the server (DH 2.3.0+). Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
If DH is installed on the server, it will work just like in singleplayer, gradually pregenerating chunks around the player. The server also has access to the
/dh pregen start <dimension> <origin> <chunkRadius>
command, useful when you want to pregen without anyone online.

This is a mod that adds a Level Of Detail (LOD) system to Minecraft. This implementation renders simplified chunks outside of the normal render distance allowing for an...
No matter then, it is still pointless to use DH with 32 RD, even with 64
No idea then, maybe someone else will have an idea
it is a 64. more and my pc boom
What quality preset?
Try medium
There shouldn't be almost any performance drop from increasing the DH RD, this is how DH works, it has pretty high initial cost, but you can go with as high of RD as you want
I prefer the high quality even if I do not see farther
Another theory I have is that those blocks are shaded black because the light data received by Distant Horizons is either null or zero.
Assuming that's the actual cause, fixing that can be difficult. First off, you need to make sure the setting for light map is set to recalculate it in advance setting > lod building, then go to each of the area with the dark shades, place or break any blocks, then wait for at least 5 minutes for the updater to update them.
After playing around with the options in LOD, it seems the problem is that between chunks, the light does not pass thru correctly.
The walls are one block deep in another chunks.

No idea if generation mode Full also make sure LOD updating is accurate, but try setting it to that and do the chunk updating as per the previous message.
Placing blocks changed nothing. Deleting the DistantHorizons.sqlite also did nothing 😢

If deleting doesn't solve it, then I guess nothing else can be done.
😭

In the end it seems like it is a bug of light between chunks.

Might be worth reporting it as bug in #bug-report.
I'm gonna test without other mods and then report
Same

Even when deleting the DistantHorizons.sqlit
I will mark this as solved for now
