Is this enough to run valorant
Guys so I have been wanting to get back into valorant again because I had quit earlier but now my laptop can no longer handle it so I have been wanting to buy a new one and I have found one from Amazon which seems pretty good but I want you guys to tell me if it's enough to run valorant im not looking for anything crazy I'm comfortable with like 60-70 fps on low settings, this is the laptop that I found:
Lenovo (Refurbished) ThinkPad T480 Business Laptop, 14" FHD NON-Touch, Intel Core i7-8GEN, 16GB DDR4 Ram, 512GB SSD, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10 Pro.

How much does it cost?
It's 600 AED which is basically 162 USD
It seems like a decent price to me
Which i7 is it exactly
There are a few 8th gens
Lemme check
It might have an underclocked cpu cuz its a business laptop
It's the Intel core i7-8650U(8th gen Thinkpad T480
Yea but my brother has a laptop that's very similar to the laptop if not the same just older he seems to run valorant fine I just wanna make sure so I don't make a mistake

That should give u an idea
Urs will perform a bit better if u reduce the resolution
And the recent update supposedly made the fps a bit better
U can expect a 20 or so increase in fps than this
That's if I reduce resolution right or just in general?
Also would this fps also be the same on laggier maps like breeze icebox fracture and haven I remember those were very lag back when I used to play
Oh it's refurbished was gonna suggest a slim gaming laptop but just saw that I do think you will be able to run the game on around your desired fps however if you are buying specifically for gaming then you can opt for better ones
But it's a decent price and yes reducing your resolution will help tons
You also get maximum fps by playing plugged in however that might put a toll on the battery overtime
Alright thanks a million guys that helps alot
