Launch game on mac
#🆘-support Good afternoon.
I have steam running through the "heroic" app on my mac m1
And almost downloaded the game 96% which works only on windows.
The game weighs 6 GB and I have 60 GB of free space, but it keeps freezing at 96% and doesn't want to download completely.
I have already tried everything and clearing the cache and restarting the MacBook. I even downloaded the game to an old windows computer and tried to transfer the files. But still steam wants to download the game again. And again it stops at 96%.

that heroic feature works with an outdated version of steam that can't be updated (or it won't be compatible with Game Porting Toolkit), as is known to not be compatible with downloads of all games if the game happens to use a newer download logic
there's not much you can do with that
the alternative is to use the commercial Crossover and install the up-to-date steam
