Randomly Banned???
I recently got HWID banned for "using third party applications" when the only things I had opened were iCue and LGhub for my keyboard and mouse. I've tried submitting tickets to riot and even listed out every program I've ever had running while playing Valorant but I keep getting the same response that they've "reviewed and verified" this behavior but I don't know what they could even be verifying because I haven't used anything non-legit. Is anyone able to help me out? Here is my riot id, you can check my tracker and everything looks perfectly normal. There's not even any matches played that I don't recognize so I know no one had hacked into my account. Moogleツ#CC531

yeah we do have seperate pc's, sometimes we swap accounts and play on each other's due to skins we have. and recently my false ban has gotten her account banned too because something was supposedly "detected" on my pc
Game devs like Riot can tie accounts together via the PCs they are seen on. If anything's fishy about one account, they could flag all associated accounts (all accounts used on all associated PCs).
They also suspect accounts that are seen consistently playing with cheaters.
If something strange was detected on ur wife's PC, your account could have been dragged in. You can dispute bans on Riot's support site.

its not that something strange was on her pc, what happened was that I had been playing on her account on my pc. then my pc got hardware banned due whatever their reasoning is, and since her account was recently active on my pc it detected it on her account as well so it banned both of us
she didn't get a hardware ban like I did because it wasn't her pc that it was detected on
yah. unfortunately, riot do be that way. they're trying to prevent someone from trying to do shady stuff on multiple pcs. It sucks that may be they got the wrong person. Again, if you dispute it, they may do something baout it. But there're no guarantees.
The same thing happened to me and it only happened in this last update

impossible because I manage his computer because he's 12 years old and only goes on the computer to play Valorant and Roblox. It was literally after this new update, I updated in the afternoon and the ban came at night

theres nothing on my computer. I can tell you that, all I do is play the sims 4 or racing games or other fps games. I don't like cheating in games D: (I'm the wife btw )

For the both of us it was "Third-Party Software"
yeah and all we had running was discord, lghub, icue, and razer synapse so it had to be one of those that caused it
i got unbanned they js told me to completly uninstall vanguard
How on earth is uninstalling vanguard gonna unban you

He'd been playing this game longer than I have but goodness gravy it's definitely something when you realize you ain't getting that money back cause most of the responses we both get are the same one (I obviously also got banned for supposedly cheating)

It is. Im sure there might be SOMETHING u can do. Because there are many ways to prove that you werent cheating. Maybe try another ticket with logs and screenshots

I could give it a shot but I'm perm banned not temporary so I don't think that would work for me
I've been playing since Episode 1 and been buying things since Episode 4, I've probably spent around 2-3k on my account at least

I would send logs but I got paranoid that I had a virus so I did a clean reset hoping to get rid of any potential viruses so I don't have my logs anymore. I wish I thought about sending them before I did my reset

it's not for no reason, if you are hwid banned it means someone ran a cheat on your pc
and if you tried some free triggerbot from the internet and it didn't even work properly that still counts as cheating
But there were no cheats on my pc, the only things I had running were lghub icue and razer synapse along with discord and Spotify. So I don't know what it's detecting

it was given to me, it was a used pc but it never had val on it and I did a reset after getting it so I started with it fresh with no potential of it having parts that were previously banned or any previous viruses that could've triggered it
at this point idc about my account anymore, i'm done fighting a losing battle. I just want my wife to get hers back because she didn't do anything to get banned, I logged in for her while she wasn't home to check the shop and due to that hers got banned too. her account is "chocobo ツ#0603" if someone could look into getting hers unbanned cause she's just caught in the crossfire instead of doing anything to get banned for

I doubt it would be a virus, we both have clean computers and are very cautious to things installed
hey moogle, my account was unbanned. i provided them with my systeminfo installed applications and drivers and vanguard logs. have you provided them with these details?
I also did a full reinstall of windows. they told me i dont have to do it but i did anyways.

I believe just account banned but his is hwid banned which confuses me. I don't want to make a new account because you know what if I spent hundreds of dollars I'm not letting my account get lost so easily

I was planning on deactivating my account b4 mine got banned since the tickets he was submitting wouldnt let him really get any help behind it and give him his back

yes but you werent banned because you vanguard flagged your pc
it was banned becuase he logged into your account with a flagged vanguard
or ip ban
